Obama - first 100 days

The big countries got big problems too. The office of previous president of United States, George Bush since he stared his first term were need fighting with terrorism and peoples who’ve put peace at risk. At the 11th September 2004 the eyes of all countries were focus at him. World had waiting to his decision and relied on his words. Two Bush’s cadencies shows that political vision of White House could be approving when it is only promise because when government makes tangibles solutions it not give enough satisfaction to people. After about five years the United States stand by big challenge too. The financial crisis have destroyed the old order and the most developed country in the world lost his trust in the world. This situation appeared in space of election campaign. America have expected change and choose her new president Barrack Obama and his watchword “Yes We Can”. The peoples of United States believe in his promises as like whole world. Is Obama handle it? The first black president United States cadence will be main to see which way the world will be going to move. Is the America win the fight with financial crisis and still will be the symbol of power and economic leader?
Obama got the instruments to change vision of falling power. He started use it quickly. His plan found a stimulus package of help which make a 787 billions dollar. That huge amount of money will make to increase the Wall Street indexes. The main part of it would going to rescue the biggest commercial banks, which were propagators of crisis. As we saw in the last months of the “CITI Group” noted the slowly increase on Wall Street indexes but situation is still not constant. In addition the motorization sector is falling down. The American concerns from Detroit got biggest troubles in their history. As we see at last days Chrysler must be given to Italian Fiat because on other way the cars production will must be stop. Probably the same fate will met the car giant General Motors.
In addition unemployment in United States is still increase and now it seems to be about seven percent. As the spectators says the biggest Obama problems is the economy but not at all.
Obama need to chose the way of his own political course at foreign policy He need to decide to continue the course Bush or not. After first 100 days of his term we could see that Obama wants to talk with everybody and he search the dialogue. President wants also change the Americas image on world arena.
We could test it in official meeting in Trinidad Tobago of presidents of South and North Americas where Obama make a good impression at Hugo Chavez (Venezuelan president) which is one of the leaders who criticize the United States politics in region. Obama also said that he will be work at the contacts with Cuba which should be warmer than it’s now. ”Although he was not specific about when or where talks with the Cuban regime might start, he said he hopes to "move U.S.-Cuban relations in a new direction." In answer the Raul Castro said that Cuba is open to discuss about everything “whatever they want”. We might say that Obama could be the first president in last years which can change situation in South America.
New president as like George Bush recognize the problems with terrorism a specially in the Middle-East region, mainly in Iran.
The next important aspect of foreign policy which is depends with security is the target system in Central - East Europe. This program was started of G. Bush and now Obama need to decide is he support this project or no. As we know the Russians don’t agree to located the militaries elements so far of Russia borders but Poland as like Czech Republic agree of install this equipment on their territories and even sign the documentary with Bush’s government.
In this situation while Russians try to affect Obama to change Americans mind of this system the involvement countries needs clear answers of that. While the official visit Obama’s in Europe Russian government suggested to locate the equipment of target system in other place for example in Azerbejdhan? Obama said that the system of security missiles won’t be need if the Iran issue will be going to finish. To shows the new America’s president course in policy Obama did another step. President disclose the facts about the methods of interrogation which uses the SIA agents in the secret jails in Guantanamo and other on all world. Of course Obama decide to stop this and announced to liquidate the jail in Guantanamo.
Another priority in foreign policy of United States is Afghanistan issue.

Barrack Obama wants to phase move the concentrate from Iraq to Afghanistan where now are more and more war incidents and this region is come to be most dangerous.
During the visit in Paris he sum up the vision of U.S foreign policy, he said:
“Under an Obama administration, the USA's role would be "not only to project power but to listen and build consensus," the senator said. But he refused an invitation from a French reporter to discuss how he'd change President Bush's poli-cies.”
Now let’s back to the campaign to remember what Obama promised and what already have done. The service “PolitiFact” try to collect his promises and selecting and grade it. They found about 500 different promises which Obama have expressed during the campaign. In first 100 day the polls looks not got to new president but situation isn’t so bad. The main promises which he kept is by the “PolitiFact” : “bringing an end to the war in Iraq while boosting the effort in Afghanistan”; “Improving transparency and ethics”; (it’s mean that Obama wants reduce the political influences and lobbyists actions [like refuse all special gifts for anyone in administrations]), “Encouraging a greener economy.”; - It’s mean Obama start a lot of initiatives and spend a billions dollars in programs like low-income homes or alternative energy search and plug in hybrid cars. “Improving diplomacy.”; „Promoting equality.” - Obama try to reduce the discrimination in pay policy in companies and sing the special law which helps to racial minority and woman to sue over that issue.
However when we look at the table of the broken promises We’ll find shorter list than promises kept list but in fact the most part of this is grade like “no action” and it’s about 80%. The negative opinions said that : “once again, the "new" Washington that Barack Obama sold to a willing electorate is quickly turning into the same old Washington that Obama claimed he wanted to "change."
The broken promise is for example Obama didn’t mention about less tax for seniors in his budget outlines for 2010 and in his Tax Day speech.
In addition Obama promise to create a 3.000 tax credit for companies that add jobs but this idea were failed while he make stimulus package. Another objection is about Armenian genocide. „during the campaign, Obama said he considered that genocide and promised to recognize those events with that word.
But when he got to Turkey, he declined to use the word”. But the main cricits of the new office is depend with tax promises and programs for example with low tax for students or credits to workers, reduce the tax to small business and companies which already start-ups. The other blame is about the health project. AIDS activists had a lot of hopes with Barrack Obama because He promised to support the programs of strategy of fight with danger virus. One of them said :”Providing clean syringes is proven to be one of the most effective public health interventions since the polio vaccine. It is clear that it works, but yet, we now have to wait for Congress to act to have the freedom to use every possible resource to make it widely available,". Now we now that Federal Ban on Funding for Syringe Exchange Remains in Budget so it’s very disappointment.
"It is sad that my President broke his campaign promise by leaving the funding ban in the budget. Congress must now act and lift the funding ban when they take up the budget next week." said Jose DeMarco, Health GAP Board member.
But when we look at the first 100 days of Obama term’s we should say that it isn’t bad. We could find the positive side of his policy for example foreign policy course or capital is going to rather stabilize than fall. If we looks at the polls with opinions from Americans people we’ll could find that Obama is still very popular. President Obama job- approval rating 63 percent and personal rating 73 percent. The high marks says that all controversy of him not damaging his image. We could also said that Americans still love’s Obama and relying on him. Maybe it will be on only by next few months because this fame is depends with not popular president G.Bush but when we looks at the whole situation in the world and mainly in U.S the results of Obama policy are really great.
